The successor to DooGee Valencia 2, the Pro version features a quicker 64 bit processor, a better and high contrast display and overall addition of notable features. Athough the phone is a quicker version, its still categorized as a good budget device. The Metallic Unibody and premium build makes this a worthy budget phone. The phone is equipped with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, expandable up to a 128GB via TF-Card support. The phone also runs DooGee OS, a skin down version of Android 5.1 lollipop that DooGee promises better optimizations. Most notably, the display gets an upgrade, it uses a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass Display that allows it to output high contrast and high quality images, with nice resolution of 720p HD. At the rear, a 13 megapixel Sony sensor camera can be found and it features wide angle lens and beautify 2.0 mode.

Cameras. For one reason or another, the rear 13 MP camera on the Y100 Pro takes better quality pictures than our original Y100 under similar conditions and settings despite having the same lenses. The auto-focus is much clearer and colors are not dampened, either. Images aren't as crisp or detailed as the cameras on current flagship but we're still pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Doogee camera.

The Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro demands a $30 premium over the already inexpensive Valencia2 Y100. The extra cost will not give you a better looking smartphone, but users should purchase the Y100 Pro for the additional RAM, storage space, and 4G support instead. If users cannot take advantage of any of these benefits, then the standard Y100 would suffice. Pre-installed apps are very light and the phone is surprisingly responsive with no hiccups aside from running multiple heavy apps and 3D games. The solid build quality and features offer practical choice for consumers on a tight budget.
